Danube Island Festival 2014 at Danube Island

Danube Island Festival is Europe’s biggest open air festival with free entrance that takes place on Danube Island in Vienna, Austria. Every year at end of June, the popular leisure paradise of the Viennese, the Danube Island, turns into a huge party zone for young and old. On-site at the 4.5 km Festival area, the Danube Island Festival offers 11 stages featuring a range of music genres for all visitors — rock, pop, alternative indie, punk, hip-hop, oldies, electro-music, and more.

With more than 600 hours of program within three days, about 2,000 artists contribute to the summer party atmosphere! Games and fun for families, spectacular shows, sportive sensations and many more surprises will attract visitors from all over the word to the Danube Island. More than 250 gastronomy and vendor stalls satisfy almost every culinary taste.
