About Ultra Music FestivalUltra Music Festival is a large-scale outdoor electronic music festival held in Miami, Florida during the Winter Music Conference every March. The festival itself is held in downtown Miami and features a series of after parties (both official and non-official) throughout South Beach over the weekend.
In 2013, UMF was expanded to two weekends due to extreme demand for tickets, but it was decided after that year to go back down to a single weekend and to just increase ticket prices.
The Ultra Music Festival brand was founded in 1999 and has since expanded to a number of other locations around the world including Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, South Korea and Croatia.
