We can’t exactly say we were surprised by the overwhelming success that Lane 8’s release, “I Got What You Need,” received this year. When we first heard its beach-y, laid back groove line, we knew it was going to be one of this summer’s hit tracks. Its perhaps fitting, then, that the maestro behind the track, Anjunadeep ambassador Lane 8, extended the track’s namesake to his upcoming 12 date North American tour. The German-born, West Coast-raised dance music talent will be kicking off his trans continental tour with two shows in Toronto (on at Toika and another at Kajama) on August 2. The tour will send him zig zagging from coast to coast for twelve shows in eleven cities over the span of two months, before culminating at Washington D.C.’s famous U Street Music Hall on September 27.
