The man, the myth, the legend. Carl Cox is all that and more. His energy, personality, and bass-heavy sets are larger than life, and this will be one of those FOMO-inducing nights that will live on in infamy for all in attendance. This is not your typical club night as all proceeds go to benefit Carl’s Burning Man theme camp, PlayGround Experience, “set up to foster community, adventure, and play.” Get more info at www.playgroundexperience.com), and be sure to get there early.

Come party with some of LA’s best local talent, on the decks and on the dancefloor. This week the roster includes Steve Loria, Tony Smooth, and Shanto. Framework presents Joris Voorn and Lauren Lane @ Sound Nightclub in Hollywood
Friday celebrates the long awaited arrival of Dutch dance music savant, Joris Voorn. His track, “Ringo,” is a favorite of many deep house connoisseurs and DJs alike and has been blowing minds since the latter part of 2013. Perfectly paired with Lauren Lane, whose beats are as sexy and soulful and she is, it will be an event that will pull emotions from deep down in your music-loving core and have you dancing your way through a masterfully guided journey. If by some unfortunate misguidance his name is unfamiliar, check out “Joris Voorn’s 2013 Year Mix” for a tantalizing appetizer.
Gesaffelstein @ The Fonda Theatre in Hollywood
French techno artist Mike Levy, aka Gesaffelstein, will undoubtedly put on a powerful and dynamic performance. His alias is derived from a German word, “Gesamkunstwerk” (meaning “total art work”) combined with “Einstein” and is well-suited, for his unique sound is artistic and intriguing in the current wading pool of repetitive nonsense. Presented by Goldenvoice and LED, the event is 18+ with doors opening at 8 p.m. and showtime at 9 p.m.
Noisecontrollers and Wildstylez @ Avalon Hollywood
It’s rare these days to find a truly talent-based hardstyle club night (at least in LA). It should be no surprise that Control at Avalon Hollywood has managed to line up some of the leading acts in the hardstyle genre, Noisecontrollers and Wildstylez. Both of these artists have paved the way for the hardstyle genre by pushing out quality productions that experiment with intense but melodic, aggressive sound. If you like it hard… Control LA’s got it for you.
Saturday, May 24:

Downstairs, the Gallery will be a fit rival, boasting the Fortune 421 takeover which will showcase house beats from JJ Flores, Brady Spear, Oh Doyle, and Kimbo.
Wolfgang Gartner @ Avalon Hollywood
American house producer and Grammy nominated artist, Wolfgang Gartner, headlines Avaland this Saturday. Having numerous productions released on prestigious record labels such as Ultra and Ministry of Sound and performances at major music festivals including EDC, Ultra Music Festival, and Coachella, it is sure to be a great show. Avalon’s newly renovated space definitely ups the ante providing a stunning environment for this big name.
Chris Garcia, David Delano, and Shanto @ Lure Hollywood
Drai’s Resident DJ, Chris Garcia, always puts on a great set and hailing from party central, Las Vegas (though originally from France), he is a master at reading the crowd and keeping everyone energetic and on the dancefloor. Teaming up with local on-air personality from PowerTools on LA’s Power106, and local jewel DJ Shanto, this will be a high energy, sweat pouring, dance-a-thon you won’t wanna miss.

We asked Trent what makes his Room 86 terrace party such a consistent staple for Hollywood house-loving locals. He replied, “It’s a party meant for those who like to get down.” So, put on your dancing shoes and get ready to dance your ass off.
Danny Avila @ Create Nightclub in Hollywood

Monday Night Social ft. Nick Warren and Darin Epsilon @ Sound Nightclub in Hollywood
Monday Night Social proves week after week to be the best place for dance fiends to rid themselves of the Mondays. With most of us Memorial Day Weekenders off work, the vibe should be as epic as ever, especially with seasoned UK House producer, Nick Warren, at the helm. Warren has been involved in the dance music scene since the ’90s and his technical expertise and industry knowledge make his creative contributions to the culture invaluable. He will be supported by Darin Epsilon, who has managed to tip toe away from his previously trance vibe to flirt with a darker and more deeply progressive sound… and we’re diggin’ it.
Wednesday, May 27
Clinic Wednesdays ft. Till Von Sein @ Couture in Hollywood
Clinic is a newer night popping up on our radar with some impressive underground talent and a sprinkling of bigger names mixed in. Just the way we like it. If you want to go somewhere to hear really good music and enjoy a crowd that actually dances, Couture’s Wednesday night is your Hump Day house haven. Just yesterday, Clinic featured Andhim, the fresh, soulful German duo making big waves in the music scene. This week we are ready to get down with Berlin’s Till Von Sein and his unique tech-house sound that will have you movin’ and groovin’. Come get your mid-week dancing dose at Clinic.
We are excited and exhausted just looking at this massive list of events… so Red Bull it up, and may the force of decisiveness be with you.
