DJOYbeat Event Spotlight
New World Punx @ Governors Beach Club (Sunday, September 14)
It’s Markus. It’s Ferry. Need we say more? If you need to hear more, these words probably won’t do justice. Instead, go to their SoundCloud, check them out. Then, find the last available tickets in the area. This is a can’t miss.
The city is packed with can’t miss shows this weekend.

The Weekend Rundown
Thursday, September 11
tyDi @ Pacha
Singer, songwriter, producer. tyDi does a little of it all. Pacha should be the perfect spot to house his brand of feel-good pop electronic. tyDi works in a bit of all the big sounds that should be sure to satisfy. If that’s not what you’re looking for… you know you’re going to Pacha, right?
Tiësto @ Lavo
So, you may have heard of this guy once or twice. Done a thing or two here and there. The club he’s playing at can be hit or miss at times. If you’re big on the NYC stereotypical scene, this is for you. If not, you may wanna scope out another spot for the night.

Erick Morillo @ Marquee
The city is alive with some legends this weekend, huh? Check out a house veteran at Marquee Friday night with Erick Morillo. Plan for high energy, strong bass and a good time at Marquee. Expect the floor to be especially packed.
Space New York Grand Opening September 2014 @ Space
The latest extension of the Ibiza mega club premieres this weekend after much hype. Michael Mayer, Alexi Delano, VanJee, Nadav Vee and more are scheduled to take the decks on the inaugural night. This might be one of NYC’s most-hyped clubs in quite some time.
Trippy Turtle, Sweater Beats @ Webster Hall
With so many legends and a big new spot opening, Webster could be home to the funkiest show in town. Between the twerk-ified Jersey club of Trippy Turtle to Sweater Beats’ groovy basslines, you probably won’t be standing still much. There’s gonna be some good dancing at Webster come Friday. Leave some room open for people grooving to do their thing.
Bounce Bus Tour w/ Will Sparks, Joel Fletcher and Timmy Trumpet @ Pacha
Aussie bounce is in full effect as Will Sparks brings the party that is becoming synonymous with so many artists from down under. Will brings along more bounce courtesy of Joel Fletcher and Timmy Trumpet. Pacha is sure to be packed Friday.

Drumcode Island with Adam Beyer @ Governors Beach Club
Governor’s summer series continues on with some of Sweden, and the world’s, best techno today. If you haven’t been to the island yet, check it out while you can. Soon enough it’ll be tucked away for what will be another cold winter.
SCNDL @ Webster Hall
If the Bounce Bus didn’t wipe you out of bounce vibes, SCNDL will be there to knock the rest of it out for you. This could be one of those kinds of nights where the floor at Webster feels like it’s moving underneath you, seriously.
Savoy @ Terminal 5
Live electro house straight from Brooklyn is on deck at T5! Check out what the rock-meets-electronic group brings to the three tiers of madness that can be Terminal 5.
Dada Life @ Marquee
Just announced, Olle and Stefan return to NYC to blow out Marquee. The status-seekers of New York better be ready to get ugly. They pretty much have no choice.

M.A.N.D.Y. @ Output
German duo M.A.N.D.Y. head to Output to do, wait for it, some deep house. The childhood friends bring a solid mix on a consistent basis. This could be a decent option to have a good time while coming down from this insane weekend.
Pendulum @ Highline Ballroom
It’s hard to explain the amazingness that is Pendulum. The Aussie group are rock meet electronic-meet-synths and things that blow minds. If there’s tickets left, scoop them up.
