Six of EDM's Funniest Music Videos
The EDM community loves to have fun and laugh. Sometimes the artists have even more fun than us. After watching these videos it’s clear who excel at comedy.

Avicii vs Nicky Romero "I Can Be The One"
This one might resonate best with the nine-to-five crowd reading this. After all the fun we had (or wish we had) in school we’re supposed to settle down and become adults. Yet, you’re still in your early 20s and you want to rage more than just on the weekends.
That’s what the main character in “I Can Be The One” goes through. She may not be literally dying in the cubicle, but her youth is. After imagining all the fun she could be having she makes her choice. Wouldn’t you do the same? Except for that whole kicking a kid’s sandcastle in. That’s a dick move.

Fatboy Slim "Weapon of Choice"
It’s Christopher Walken dancing by himself for minutes on end. If that doesn’t do it for you, wow. Fatboy Slim has always had inventive videos, but this one may have taken the cake. Not only was it creative but it was outright hysterical. And fans ate it up.
While the video might be best known for Walken being so weirdly awesome, the awesome choreography needs to be mentioned as well. “Weapon of Choice” went on to win six MTV Video Music Awards, as well as the top video in a poll of music industry professionals in 2002. Then again, it’s Chrisopher Walken dancing and flying for almost four minutes. That should be all to it, right?

Major Lazer "Scare Me"
Nick Kroll, Lauren London and Terry Crews join forces to shake down evil in “Scare Me.” Nobody else would have made the Major come to life like the hilarious Terry Crews. The guy is ridiculous in such a great way. A cameo by Blake from Workaholics was just an added laugh to the cast.
The song was a good background to the short film going on. That may not be the best thing to say about a music video, but this seems like what the group was going for. The end credits were icing on the cake. They had the Mad Decent style you’d expect from the group, yet they also could be the credits for a legitimate bad action movie.

Flux Pavilion & Dillon Francis "I'm The One"
Dillon and Flux play two lovable kittens in need of some supervision at the last minute. Though, they’re not the problem. Instead, the problem is the demonic older cat that has the eyes of a White Walker from Game of Thrones. All hell breaks loose once the cat sitter goes on a beer run.
Things get all sorts of acid trip-like from there. Phantom hands and USBs start doing the bidding as the house goes to hell. The video doesn’t make much sense, or any, but it’s still hilarious. Maybe it’s the faces or growing up on the Internet surrounded by cat memes. Whatever it is, “I’m The One” hit the right comedic marks.

Mat Zo "Pyramid Scheme"
A song that rocks the funky beats might be expected to have its video packed with raw energy. That is not the case with “Pyramid Scheme.” Instead, a group of seniors are doing Tai Chi in the park. However, everything does change as the sessions progresses.
Soon, the afternoon in the park fills with pelvic thrusts and leans that would make “Smooth Criminal” look basic. The leader of the group busts out some sweet levitation skills that doesn’t seem to phase anyone. The group must be pretty calm. They even don’t mind a couple hadoukens to the mid-section, but they’ll still lose their stuff over some confetti. Maybe that’s just how Tai Chi sessions go down.

Nicky Romero "Toulouse"
If it weren’t so funny, “Toulouse” could serve as a pretty scary film. Just think” People across Europe are slowly being transformed into a mob by these V for Vendetta/Anonymous monsters. Then they bust out the dancing. Once you go pelvic thrust it pretty much all becomes comedy. In music videos, at least.
The gang gets a female touch after an encounter with some ladies outside a sex shop. After that, no subway stop is safe. If you’re trying to get some rest, be sure to avoid the masks. Or was it all just a dream? Put one of those masks on at a show and find out for yourself!
