Ace of Spades

Ace of Spades is located in the R Street District of downtown Sacramento, and is an all ages venue that features acts from almost every music genre.

If you need a little grub to go along with your drinks, Ace of Spades has a good selection to choose from ranging from salads and burgers to tacos and chicken wings. Prices are inexpensive; nothing is more than $9. Food is served Monday through Thursday from 3pm to 9pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 3pm to 10pm, and Sundays from noon to 9pm.

In addition to having three full bars and VIP bottle service, they accommodate the younger crowd with a juice bar. Guests compliment the fast service as there are always 6 or 7 bartenders at all times serving up drinks. They also state that the service is excellent, drinks are good quality, and the staff is friendly. Additionally, the layout of the venue and the ability to see the stage from wherever you are is a big bonus.

The dress code is trendy, so come dressed to impress. They don’t have a coat check or a happy hour, and if you want to smoke, you have to jam yourself in the smoking section or go outside. If you can grab a parking spot on the street, great, if not, you’re going to have to pay $10 to park in a lot or the garage.

Ace of Spades is open 7 days a week. Start times for shows vary. Tickets can be purchased online, but note that there is a service fee of $3.95.
