About Altitude Sky Lounge

Located in the Gaslamp Quarter, Altitude Sky Lounge is set 22 stories up and provide beautiful panoramic views of San Diego.

Their rooftop space, which features modern décor, is all about the trendy atmosphere. With that vibe comes a strict dress code that they enforce, and they will turn you away if you don’t meet their standards. Come in excessively baggy clothing? Expect to be denied entry.

Considering Altitude Sky Lounge is part of the Marriot Hotel, you can easily get a room if you’re too worried about getting home after some drinks. While there is no cover, expect to pay about $11 and up for each drink. However, you can save yourself some cash and go on Sunday for their all night Happy Hour.

The roof isn’t covered, so they do close in the case of inclement weather, so it’s better to call before you go just in case. The firepit is one of the favorite features of the lounge.

Altitude Sky Lounge is open Sunday through Thursday from 5pm – 1:30am, and Friday and Saturday from 5pm – 2am. During the baseball season, they open two hours before the start of day games. Go early if you’re going Friday or Saturday nights as the line can get a bit long.
