Ambassade Club

“The little red club with electric sound” is how the Ambassade Club is described. An approach and a setup similar to the Ministry of Sound in London or the Tunnel in New York City has made this selective venue one of the most highly appreciated house music clubs in Lyons. Located on the peninsula between the Rhone and the Saone rivers, this underground club specializes in the latest electro, house and garage music as well as funk and soul. Resident DJ Manoo runs the mixing board amid a red baroque decor where comfortable sofas surround the few tables and the lighting illuminates the room and the bar with a timeless glow.

On Fridays, top international DJs such as DJ Deep, Kerri Chandler, DJ Léa Lisa, and Jovonn play their personal sets  and create a high-voltage atmosphere for the clubbers. Wednesdays are devoted to Hip-Hop and on Thursdays guests can discover or rediscover the best local DJs and their selections. L’Ambassade is open Wednesdays to Saturdays from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM. There is no cover charge. Spirits run at 80 Euros per bottle. Smart casual dress required. Visa and Mastercard accepted. The capacity of this club is only 150 people, so it is wise to book in advance or arrive early.
