About BabylonIn the Santa Croce area, built on the premises of former Club Doris, Babylon Club is one of the surprises of the nightlife in Firenze of these past years. The venue, even though not very big, is developed over two floors with three rooms on the first one and another one on the second level. This division makes it possible for people who want to have a relaxed talk with friends while having a drink to have a tranquil space separated from the rooms where various DJs perform. Babylon Club is open from Thursday to Saturday with three different themed nights: on Friday it’s Neon People, dedicated to a younger crowd with an irreverent mood and sounds of avant-disco, rock’n’roll, space, synthwave and future rock; on Friday the venue hosts various events with different guests; on Saturday the night is called Markette and it’s thought for the fans of dance music. Entry is usually “free” but with one mandatory drink from 8 to 10 euros, with the exception of special occasions and events during which the price might increase. At the entrance the staff is selective, but it’s not that difficult to get in.
