Bar Dynamite

San Diego’s premier music and DJ Club! Bar Dynamite has been around since mid last century. The Bar once catered to the thriving Aerospace industry that was a stones throw across what is now Interstate 5. There were a few incarnations in its history, the earliest being Club Nagasaki.

Now forward a few decades to 80’s/90’ Club Nagasaki was converted to Bar Dynamite. The Bar then became a fav dive spot for early drinkers, locals and musicians from the burgeoning San Diego music scene. The Bar’s ownership was then changed again in 1999 to what is now world famous Bar Dynamite. Starting in that year, Bar Dynamite became was one of the early pioneers of the under ground DJ music movement.

The ownership envisioned bringing all types of CLUB MUSIC to the SD masses. Although Vinyl has since been replaced, it is still on the cutting edge today. WE feature DJ’s (sometimes live music) 7 days a week and cover all genres from FUNK, SOUL, HIP HOP, HOUSE, REGGAE, and ELECTRONIC club music.  We provide a music party every night with great drinks and exceptional service. We are not a huge venue but then again Dynamite comes is small packages!

Come enjoy our Happy Hour: $3 ON ALL WELLS and half off all other drinks from 5-9 During happy hour we encourage you to bring in food from the many local restaurants in our area. We also have FREE WIFI.
