Located steps away from major attractions such as the US Airways Center and Chase field, the hip downtown “Bar Smith” attracts Phoenix’s trendy scene. With two levels, playing mainly Hip Hop on an intimate dancefloor downstairs, and following a metal staircase to the second floor, where the party continues with Silky House, Funk, Electro, Dubstep and EDM, it offers something for every mood of the night.

Swanky couches give you a break from exhausting dance moves on the small but busy dancefloor, whilst providing an excellent perch for people-watching. The star of the show is the view from the rooftop bar, which can be a fist-pumping spectacle or laid back urban sanctuary, depending on the night of the week.

“Bar Smith” brings world class talent to an intimate setting, having local, national and internationally renowned DJs streaming in and out, sporting names such as Louie Vega, Joe Claussel, Tensnake, Joakim, Mark Farina, Tommie Sunshine and ?uestlove – just to name a few.

With the founders motto “to share and present sounds and styles that are truly authentic, human, and sort of gritty and raw” as well as being unapologetic for its members’ love for “vinyl, analogue production, rotary mixing, high quality audio files and unadulterated fun”, you know that this place holds something special for the night.
