Bayou Music Center

Situated next to the Hard Rock Café, this live music venue has brought countless acts through downtown’s theatre district since 1997, including such artists as Coldplay, Etta James, Velvet Revolver, Steely Dan, Interpol, Sigur Rós, The Killers, Deftones… just to name a few.

Despite its 130,000 square feet, “Bayou” still keeps an intimate vibe that is usually found at much smaller venues. The area downstairs is standing room only, while the second storey balcony provides reserved seating for those would like to avoid crowds and the potential mosh pits.

Six fully stocked bars, two flanking each side of the stage, one in the concert hall, two upstairs for the balcony seats and one more in the back of the theater, shorten the waiting periods between sets by offering anything the heart of a true drink connoisseur might desire.

Be prepared for slightly higher ticket prices and bigger crowds!
