Belly Up Tavern

Established in 1974, the Belly Up Tavern is located in Solana Beach and features some of the best musical talents in the business from every genre.

Some of the pasts acts who have played at Belly Up Tavern include Graham Nash, Jimmy Buffett and The Coral Reefer Band, Three Dog Night, Vanessa Carlton, and Pennywise. The best part is that tickets are affordable.

Belly Up Tavern features two full bars, a full kitchen, HD projection screens, flat screen televisions, and a state of the art sound and light system. They also have a coat check so you don’t have to worry about lugging your jacket around with you. Many guests rave about the kind employees, the spaciousness of the venue, and their excellent variety of music. The venue can fill up fast when they have a show, so make sure to get there early to avoid long lines. No outside drinks are allowed.

While Belly Up Tavern is a music venue, they also hold any type of event you can imagine whether you want to host a wedding reception, charity fundraiser, birthday party, or holiday party.  For a dinner, the venue can hold 350 people, and for a cocktail reception-style event, it can accommodate around 600.

Belly Up Tavern is open Monday through Sunday from noon to 11pm.
