Blue Mountain

Since throwing opening its doors in the mid 90’s, the Blue Mountain has held legendary status amongst clubbers in Bristol. While the days of glow sticks and happy hardcore are long gone, the club continues to be at the forefront of the city’s underground music scene. Nights are now infrequent and the club is a bit more low key than yesteryear, but most of the big promoters in the Bristol scene put on events here, like Apex and Wide Eyes.

They’ve got two big rooms, both equipped with a Funktion One sound system, and a huge terrace that hums with clubbers meeting each other. Music is always underground, veering towards house and techno and always full of pounding bass lines. Keep checking the listings, because if there is something happening at Blue Mountain, you can be guaranteed a packed club continuing well into the small hours.
