First opening its doors back in 2006, Cobra Lounge has been a haven for showcasing local underground and emerging musical talent. Because of its dynamic sound, cozy feel and unpretentious atmosphere, many national touring bands opt to play at Cobra Lounge foregoing larger venues.

Situated on the outskirts of Chicago’s Union Park, Cobra Lounge is the established host venue for many of Chicago’s top spring and summer outdoor music events, of which their very own August Cobra Block Party is a part of each summer.
Rock & Roll music always seems to be resonating from within the confines of Cobra Lounge, whether it is by way of live performances, DJs or the on-site jukebox.

The best nights to make your way over to Cobra Lounge are Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights, according to past guests.
