If you’re looking for the ultimate experience when clubbing in Hong Kong, Dragon-i has got to be one of the best around this ultra metropolitan city. Opened in November 2002 and still going crazy strong, always jam packed with hardcore clubbers and celebrities with internationally renowned DJs from around the world, coming in to mix us some of their tunes on most nights. To get in, you don’t need to be a member, but what you do need is to be stylishly clothed at the entrance where you will be analysed before entry. So no sandals, shorts and t-shirt. You’ve been warned here! Once inside, you can begin to understand the strict entry rules adopted because Dragon-i just looks so professional. A unique combination of Chinese and Japanese decor in red, white and black creates the perfect zen which is no short of international standards. Split into 3 sections where you will find dancefloors, elevated DJ booth, VIP areas, long bar and comfy seating areas all seamlessly unified together making the most out of the space which is not especially large for such a hip club in Hong Kong. Food dining is available aswell which you can try during lunch times serving Chinese and Japanese delicacies such as dim sums, bento boxes or go on specific days for their daily specials.
