Effet Mer

L’Effet Mer is a lounge bar, restaurant and club in La Grande Motte just a few minutes from Montpellier. With a decor reminiscent of both the islands and an African lodge, the ambiance is both exotic and refined. The restaurant serves a wide variety of Asian, Spanish and Southern France, deli and vegetarian cuisine as well as offering Steakhouse cooking, at reasonable prices. Guests can begin their evening in the cocktail bar or on the terrace before entering the club where the resident DJ for that evening plays the music set for the theme. The selection is eclectic and includes all musical genres from dance music to deep house. After work, fashion night, ladies nights, burlesque… the themes are varied and guest DJ’s such as Sandy Perellon, Steph DLH, James Mac, and CEBB invited to mix their favorite playlists. For very special parties the  dance floor is right on the beach itself, kick off your shoes… L’Effet Mer is open every day from April to September from 9:00 AM to 2:00 AM. Major credit cards accepted. Guest and Valet parking.
