El Dorado Cocktail Lounge

Located in the Gaslamp District, El Dorado is a bar that prides itself on showing its guests a good time in a chill atmosphere.

The venue gets dark and very loud, so expect to get up close and personal to the person you’re trying to converse with if you want to see their face and hear anything they’re trying to say.

Past guests compliment the drinks, not only for their quality, but also their price. On their menu are numerous types of craft, domestic, and imported beer, as well as several other types of drinks including whisky and a variety of seasonal cocktails.

Dress is casual, so you can leave the fancy looks for a more upscale venue. Everyone is welcome, and you won’t encounter any type of pretentious attitude. All the employees are given the thumbs up for their kind demeanor.

Compared to other venues in the area, the cover is inexpensive at only $5 to $10. There’s no coat check, and smoking is only allowed outdoors. El Dorado is open Monday through Thursday from 7pm to 2am, Friday from 5pm to 2am, and Saturday and Sunday from 7pm to 2am.
