Since its opening in 1991, Engel07 has been Hanover’s first stop for music off the mainstream path, whether it be Techno, Minimal, Drum’n’Bass, FuturePop or Goa – played and celebrated on two floors. Being one of the last clubs catering for the goth scene, it also has music styles as EBM, Darkwave, New Wave and Industrial Noise to offer – if you’ve been wondering what Anne Clark sounded like again, you can find out here.

The club has a small and nice atmosphere and offers changing events on Fridays. The infamous “Tante Hanne” collective hosts regular events with local and international Top DJs. Another great event to check out is the “Hanomag” parties, catapulting you back into good old techno hits of the 90s and 00s.

An attractive and mixed crowd of loyal followers and one-off visitors from other venues on the strip mingle happily with your usual graveyard-wanderers without any age limitations.

Bar staff is friendly and quick and the drinks are located somewhere in the average range of pricing.
