Estragon

Estragon is a live music club in the old town center of Bologna, Parco Nord. It’s very well-known in the city due to live concerts of famous bands and both national and international DeeJays. Depending on the night here you can find any kind of music, from pop to commercial, rock, dance, etc.. It is especially popular for putting on stage some memorable live rock concerts and for organizing decent dance floor nights such as Fujiko Night with DJ Mingo and the sound of Radio Cittàfujiko 103.1 fm. The place is basically a warehouse with a very minimalistic vibe. The furniture consists of some seats and little tables but there are no sofas or chairs. Estragon is equipped with a stage that is not too big and quite low-rise, so the performers are very close to the public which is good for the first rows, but not so much for the others.

The are two bars, one on the opposite side to the other, and also some dressing rooms. It’s a ARCI club, so you might need to be a card-carrying member depending on the night. On the website you can check out the calendar and practical information.
