About Fine Line Music Cafe

The Fine Line Music Café, located in the middle of the Warehouse District in downtown Minneapolis, is housed in the ground level of the Consortium building. It was built in 1907 and is officially registered as U.S. Historic Site. The building has been beautifully maintained and is as inviting from the outside as it is from the inside.

The Café’s grand opening was all the way back in 1987, and it was designed to be a first class nightclub. The goal was to create a space for top notch artists and acts, who would play every night of the week. That goal was soon realized, and today you can see the best local Minneapolis bands play alongside the best nationally and internationally touring acts.

When you walk into the club space, you’ll be immediately struck by the two-tier cabaret style seating, which does wonders to enhance the music experience. The ambiance is further increased with the brand-new sound and light system, an incredible stage, and special touches like acoustic ceiling tiles that come together to form a performer’s dream venue.

To get the best seats and experience, consider upgrading to an X-Gold Ticket. This coveted, limited issue ticket gets you reserved seating in the best seats in the house, and comes with a specific number of free drinks or food, depending on the particular ticket you buy and the size of your party.
