About Glass CactusOnce the Texas sun sets, the Glass Cactus Nightclub comes alive. Enjoy nightly live entertainment and dancing, together with creative cocktails and club cuisine.
Gather across the state-of-the-art sound-stage to determine top name national acts, as well as local and regional talent.
For a romantic interlude, make your way outside to the massive two-tier deck. This deck is tailor made for you to mix and mingle on while enjoying the beautiful Texas sky and moonlit Lake Grapevine in the near distance.
What to Expect:
This is a fun spot. Live music, big dance floor, energetic crowd, good drinks, lots of seating – both indoor and out, and multiple bars.
The crowd here is very mixed, but definitely older than the 21-30 year old crowd you would typically expect to find at a dance club. A lot of out of town people staying at the Gaylord for conventions go out here, so you can always meet new and interesting people.
The outdoor patio is quite the place. It is huge and full of tables, couches, fans and misters, and it has two bars. The view is incredible (for Grapevine). The patio is right above the lake and is a great place to sit and chat.
If you get hungry from dancing your heart out, order some food! Rumor has it that the Kobe beef sliders are incredible and the lobster quesadillas are also amazing. Also, their quesadilla use gouda cheese, which is a brilliant combination with the lobster sure to please your taste buds.
There is a cover charge after 8 p.m., but they do accept credit cards to pay cover. They also have valet and will validate parking. Just remember to ask for a validated parking ticket up at the front where you pay your cover.
