Gotec Club

For over 10 years, the Gotec Club in Karlsruhe has been renowned for its location and events revolving around electronic music. With a large venue spanning over two levels, low ceilings, gigantic bars with fair prices, spacious dancefloor and plenty of seating it is a regular hotspot for national and international DJ sets and live gigs.

A venue for lovers of many music styles, it rather stands for diversity than uniformity. Techno beats are supplemented with Drum’n’Bass, Electro, Funk, Soul and Classics. Events such as “Cannibal Techno Nights” or “Parties for Lesbians and Friends” take turns with live gigs covering anything from HipHop, Punk and Rock.

Being infamous for its art and culture with works of upcoming artists being displayed on the wall, it attractsa  younger and fun-loving crowd (either on paper or at heart), creating a memorable night out.

Top tip: Grab something from the fantastic and somehow overly happy gentleman beside the venue, offering vegetarian meals and vitamin shakes for the late-night-cravers. African stew with tomatoes, beans, couscous and secret spices can be a godsend after an exhausting night on the dancefloor.
