Griffin

Griffin, located at 50 Gansevoort Street in NYC, is a cocktail lounge and bar inspired by the 19^th century Gilded Age. It plays host to a sophisticated mix of artists, designers, celebrities, and affluent patrons. The opulent décor of The Griffin pays tribute to the days of the Industrial Revolution.

Its intimate space is full of plush velvet banquettes, antiqued mirrors, herringbone floors, and gilded tables. One major attraction of this club is the ceiling fixture that is transparent and is made of 5000 individual crystals that look like a rolling landscape. Only eco friendly materials are used for the décor of the place. The club also holds regular green charities to give back to the planet.

It is directly across the chic DJ Booth that houses Funktion One gear. There are multiple VIP sections on two floors and an elevated performance area for various acts.

With a total capacity of 295 guests, the Griffin can be used for filming, photo shoots, and other private events. Make sure you “dress to impress”, as there is a strict dress code. You’ll notice that guests are dressed up in upscale cocktail dresses and designer suits.
