Hi-Dive

Despite its name Denver’s Hi-Dive works for a dive spot feel. That’s not a bad thing, mind you, as it’s pulled off professionally and leads to casual atmosphere. The concert hall brings in plenty of live acts which in turn bring a diverse crowd that range from twenty something hipsters to music savvy types in their fifties. One dive spot characteristic they do keep, fortunately, is the prices. The Hi-Dive is a great place to enjoy an awesome night without breaking your bank.

If you get hungry the restaurant, Sputnik, is right next door and it also has a full service bar, which is great if you want to have a drinks and a conversation without yelling over music. It also has a full espresso bar and both vegan and vegetarian options.

Since its inception in 2003, Hi-Dive has received numerous awards including Best Rock Club four times from 2004 to 2007. The bar was purchased and revamped by a young couple who had spent years in New York city, moved to Denver and wanted to create a concert hall reminiscent of their days in the Big Apple.
