La Maison Electrique at La Nuit Bleue

Located in the Brittany town of Plougoumelen, near Vannes, La Nuit Bleue is a cabaret and night club which caters to the over-25 crowd with DJ sets featuring music from the 80’s to today’s electro and dance floor hits.  The comfortably-appointed, spacious complex houses three separate rooms: the Nuit Bleue, for the younger clubbers;  la Suite, for the 40+ guests; and the very private Daly’s for members only.  Special theme nights will take guests back to the “roaring 20’s,” or forward to the rhythm of today’s house music.  Dinner dances are also organized, and on Thursday and Sunday afternoons, an orchestra plays ballroom music for afternoon dances.  The nightclub is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 1:00 AM to 6:00 AM.  Cover charge is 12 euros and includes one drink.  Smart, casual dress required.  Shuttle service can be booked (3 euros) on Saturday evenings.
