About Living RoomUpscale and selective, the Living Room is a small but chic lounge bar in the Krutenau quarter of Strasbourg that features DJ sets with house and techno music on the weekends. Cocktails are the club specialty. Sundays are always “Funny Sundays” with a variety of music from rock to house. Wednesdays are Erasmus nights when students of every nationality come to dance to the sets by resident DJ Alex Nevil. On Thursdays Alex mixes a variety of musical styles for the weekly Party Night. Weekends guest DJs such as David Riviera, DJ Ralph, Mlle Lucy, Mr. Mike, Johan Korg or Vicius take over the boards to present their personal sets of house and electro music.
This bar-lounge gets crowded quickly but the atmosphere is always warm. Strict smart casual dress code; theme nights may permit certain costumes. Drinks and cocktails starting at 5 Euros, and at 60 Euros for a bottle of vodka. There is no cover charge Wednesday and Thursday, and the entrance fee is variable on the other nights in function of the schedule of events. Advance reservations recommended to avoid long waiting lines. Major credit cards accepted.
