About MacumbaSix clubs for six different ambiances, four restaurants, an Irish Pub and a dance school… the Macumba complex in St Julien-en-Genevois, just south of Geneva, is one of the largest night club complexes in France. Le GK is the temple of electronic and house music, where resident DJ DeeRage and guest DJs like Showtek, DJ Antoine, Big Ali, Basto, Inna, Edward Maya, Mohombi, Remady, or Bob Sinclar heat up the floor with their latest sets. New Disco Funk is the fare at Le Lounge where Friday nights are ladies’ nights and the music from the 70s, 80s and 90s sets the beat. In Le Divino, clubbing and today’s RnB and Reggaeton hits are offerd by resident DJ Mike, Thursdays are ladies nights and at the weekends guests can enjoy a dinner and cabaret. At La Villa the 30+ crowd can rumba to Latino and Caribbean music, a rum bar, and two dance floors on two levels, while the Roger’s Club caters to a select group of guests. Finally, Le Glam Club welcomes the older fans of yesterday’s and today’s hits in a Hollywood school holds classes every Thursday. The Macumba nightclubs are open on Fridays and Saturdays , from 9:00 or 10:00 PM and on Monday evenings. Dress code from semi-formal to smart casual depending on the club.
