Madame X

Madame X is a plush lounge with sexy red lighting and below street level entrance, making this bar look seductively suggestive. There is an outdoor garden which is heated in winter, so guests can enjoy indoors as well as outdoors in all seasons.

The lacy red lamps, dark interiors, and plush velvet chaises give it the typical boudoir look. The sinful atmosphere is in accordance with the venue’s checkered past. In the early ‘90s, the upper level of the lounge was a whorehouse posing as a nail salon, while the lower level was a marijuana dealership hidden behind a music store.

Madame X is full of hidden surprises. There is a small nook with a ladder which is very popular and people generally cram themselves into it to see how many can fit.

The top floor is commonly used for private parties and features an atrium that is sheltered by a canopy and sports a beautiful fountain.

Madame X offers a playful cocktail menu with drinks like “Make Her Blush”, “Cherry Pop”, and “Madame X” (the lounge’s signature drink).
