Mahagoni Bar

The so-called “Maha-Bar,” centrally located in the heart of Augsburg, is one of the few clubs left where you can feel very “scene” and dance in midst of finest mahogany, tropical plants and brick tiles. The club is an old vault, which has been turned into a chic club and bar with special flair.  It provides a main floor with a cocktail bar, an adjacent room featuring interesting mirror optics, and a basement enchanting the visitors with its romantic medieval charm, serving both as a dance floor or a stage for live acts.

Three floors blast a wide spectrum of music styles, covering anything from electro, deep house, jazz, funk, soul, hip-hop, reggae & dancehall to indie, alternative and more rock-style tunes. The mixed crowd in their twenties to thirties is quite obviously here to dance and have a good time.

With a cocktail happy hour, you can expect to indulge in more than one delicious cocktail mixed by friendly bar staff.  Try the “Mahagoni Cocktail” for enough energy to “rock the maha.”

Pro tip: there is an infamous Doner Kebap stand opposite the club for late night cravings.
