About Ministry of Sound

One of the world’s most renowned names in dance music the Ministry of Sound still has a club at its original London location. Made famous through huge parties in the 1990’s the club continues to play host to some of the biggest names in the industry, like Armand van Helden and Paul Oakenfold. Refurbished extensively since the dingy warehouse that made its name, some argue the club has become over the top and pretentious. However, there is no doubt that it knows how to provide the clubbing experience.

Ministry of Sound hosts DJs that you will struggle to find playing anywhere else in the UK and if you’re into DJ hunting there are few places better to go. Expect a big room atmosphere and big room anthems. Deliberately moving away from the underground scene the club has a polished feel, and it is one of London’s most expensive.  The crowd gets dressed up and is mainly filled with occasional clubbers hoping for a glimpse of the big name star. Arrive early and pre book tickets if it’s a huge name playing.
