The old hollywood chic feel of Monroe makes this lounge/nightclub an excellent place to spend a relaxing classy night out. Two oversized, glamorously decorated booths at either end of the venue add to the elegantly seductive atmosphere. You can grab drinks from either the small bar by the entrance or the main bar near the back of the venue. Although the dance area is not huge, letting your hair loose and dancing the night away is always an option. Monroe’s signature event is the Battle of the Decades on Wednesday nights. The DJ starts with 80’s music at 8pm, 90’s music at 9pm, 00’s music at 10pm, and current music from 11pm through the rest of the night. In addition to the change in music, well drinks and beer prices start at $1 and increase by $1 each hour as the music changes. And, if you’re hungry on your way in or out of Monroe, delicious street tacos are available right outside the venue. Whether you come on a Wednesday to party through the decades, or come here another night to lounge with some friends, be prepared to have a memorable night out at Monroe.
