Moog

Moog is a venue with a large history behind it. It was established as a “tablao flamenco”, but in the 1990s it was refurbished and, as a result, is a really modern and exclusive venue in Barcelona. It has been decorated by Kiko Solsona, a renowned interior designer that has created a futuristic space which is still a comfortable place. The venue has two separate spaces: on the low floor there’s a large dance floor and the main room; on the top floor there’s a smaller dance floor and a room which brings more intimacy. Although it has folk roots, nowadays it is a club dedicated almost entirely to techno and electro music. DJ sessions are the main dish on the program, and it is a famous venue all over Europe. Many renowned DJs have performed there (from John Acquaviva or Laurent Garnier to DJ Omar, Dave Tarrida or Tobias Smith). This is a real cult space for electro music lovers. It is opened daily from midnight until 5 am. and it has as well a great bar service. When you get into Moog, you’re getting into an European temple dedicated to disco music, so let the party start.
