Origin

Origin is the long running home of drum and bass, jungle, and everything bass heavy in Aberdeen.  Open until 3am on weekends, with no dress code, it’s a club that gets loud and messy most nights of the week.  The walls vibrate, the crowd spans a huge cross-section of society, and the music never relents.  Bassline, dubstep, and hip-hop are also played here, and the club attracts international talent.

Coming to Origin is a full-on experience; it is not for those looking for a gentle night out.  Anything goes and anything can happen, so pack your ear plugs if you don’t want your head to ring the following morning.  On mid-week nights, the venue is open until 2am.  The big-name DJs play infrequently on weekends, dependent on the promoter who’s using the venue.
