About Paradise Rock Club

The Paradise Rock Club and Lounge has been open since the mid-‘70s, and has hosted acts like Tom Waits, the Hold Steady, the Black Crowes, and Wilco. You’ll know the spot by its signature black marquee and loudly buzzing neon sign, both of which are original to the founding of the club.

In fact, this 1,000 capacity club was relevant to the Boston scene from the day it opened, and it hasn’t lost any of its charm or popularity. Occasionally you’ll see some nostalgic ‘90s acts in the fray, but typically you can expect nationally touring bands or up and coming Boston locals.

Club kids can scour the website for their favorite DJs, because when the Paradise Rock Club and Lounge books electro, dance, and hip-hop nights, the tickets can sell out almost instantly.

The front lounge serves up bar food like fish and chips, and the music room in the back hosts a raised stage and several bars. The cover charge ranges from $7 to $25, and beer starts at $5 and cocktails at $8. Every night can be busy, depending on the act booked, but Fridays and Saturdays are especially packed.
