About Rams Head Live!

Welcome to Rams Head Live, located in the Power Plant Live section of downtown Baltimore.

From the success of Rams Head On Stage located in Annapolis, Maryland, “Rams Head Live!” opened in 2004 to offer a unique experience for the Maryland music lover. Today, the Rams Head Live! features well over 200 concerts each year.

If you want to sit down and have a drink with friends before any concert, you and your friends will be happy to know that the Rock Star Bar opens two hours before the concert doors open.

This 26,000 square foot space is a great performance space for small bands and lesser-known artists. There are good views all around, especially from the upper levels. Moreover, there are multiple screens placed strategically around the bar areas so you can watch the show from every corner of the venue.

What to Expect:

Many past guests have claimed that how early you arrive will have a major impact on your experience. Assuming you are not in the VIP section, this is a first-come-first-served venue. This means that you could either end up two feet from the performer getting a personal serenade or in a balcony behind a bunch of tall people hearing nothing but bass. Needless to say, the view and acoustics are highly variable depending on your vantage point.

Nevertheless, past guests will tell you the “Rams Head Live!” has a Casual ambiance which matches its dress code. It is also moderately priced, very loud and very good for dancing.

For those who hate to trek long distances to and from their vehicle will be happy to read that garage parking is available at this venue. Additionally, it is recommended by past guests that you check out “Rams Head Live!” on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night.
