Best described as a warehouse club space, Refuge PDX caters to the creative whether they’re an artist or musician.

Refuge PDX holds numerous types of events, including live music of all genres such as house, hip hop, and tribal. They do, however, focus primarily on EDM. Past guests give the employees the thumbs up as being friendly to the patrons, but also being firm when need be, and state that the drinks are strong yet reasonably priced. The dance floor is hardwood and can accommodate a good amount of people.  One of the biggest complaints is that it’s a cash only establishment, so make sure to get cash from the ATM beforehand. Another issue guests have is that while women get use of a bathroom, men have to use port-a-potties.

Dubbed as a “premier audiovisionary center,” Refuge PDX also hosts kids shows, movie premiers, holiday parties, art showcases, and fashion events. If you’re looking for a space to host your next shindig, whether it’s a wedding reception, corporate meeting, or birthday party, this venue could be just what you’re looking for.
