About REGGIESAltered from a once rundown vehicle fender repair shop, REGGIES first opened its doors and greeted the public on September 8, 2007.
Today, REGGIES is the place that you will find one of Chicago’s most popular music scenes. Case and point, REGGIES has featured popular acts such as Alkaline Trio, the Tragically Hip, Carl Palmer, Gaslight Anthem, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Supersuckers, Screeching Weasel, as well as many others.
REGGIES supplies plenty of live music to Chicago’s South Loop, accompanied by daily food and beverage specials and laid back feeling. This site also boasts a bigger live room with midlevel touring groups, a record store upstairs plus a roof top beer garden which is open throughout the year.
Next door to the main venue sits Reggies Rock Club. Reggies Rock Club is an all-ages and up live music venue with a diverse selection of music each and every night.
REGGIES is open for business during the following hours:
Mon-Fri, Sun 11 am – 2 am
Sat 11 am – 3 am
What to Expect:
Past guests will tell you that REGGIES has a casual dress code, is somewhat loud, good for dancing and is moderately priced.
While the best nights to head out to REGGIES are Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, there is no off street parking available. However, on most nights, plenty of metered street parking is available and the parking meters take credit/debit cards and/or coins. While the street meters charge $2.00/hr., the good news is that parking is free after 10 p.m.
