About Roseland Theater

Over the years, Roseland Theater has been the site of many live recordings by some huge names including Prince, Bob Dylan, Tina Turner, Pearl Jam, and Miles Davis.

Roseland Theater can accommodate 1,410 people, and it’s standing room only. They do, however, allow seating in the balcony, but it’s only for 21+. Tickets for special events, as well as for balcony seating, can be purchased online through their website.

They have a long list of rules to obey or they won’t hesitate to kick you out or even deny you entry in the first place. For example, they won’t allow you entry if you’re intoxicated before you get to the door, and will kick you out if they find you have permanent markers on you. Basically, fun is fine, just know your limits and respect their property and the people in it.

It can get quite packed at Roseland Theater, and the crowd is typically young, so you’re going to have to bring the patience and leave your need for personal space at home. If you’re going to see a show, get there as early as possible. Prices for drinks and food can get expensive, so be prepared.

Dress is casual but neat, and they do have a coat check. Smoking is allowed only outdoors. For more info on events taking place at Roseland Theater, check out their Facebook page
