Rotture

Located in the Industrial District of Portland, Rotture is a lounge / music venue that’s all about showing love to many different genres of music.

Rotture may not be a huge venue or have a large dance floor, but what they do offer is a variety of music to an energetic crowd. They also have a balcony upstairs that provides an unobstructed view of the dance floor. Past guests rave about the friendliness of the staff, and explain that they go above and beyond to make sure the crowds are happy and taken care of. Expect well-priced, strong drinks even though they don’t offer a happy hour.

There’s live music every night, and some of the music Rotture features include house, hip hop, and soul. While it’s typically a 21+ venue, they do offer all ages shows as well.

Rotture charges a small cover – under $10 – and the amount is determined by what time you get in. They’re open Wednesday through Sunday from 9pm to 2:30am. There’s no parking lot, so if you’re going on a busy night, expect to do a bit of walking to get to the venue. Special events require ticket purchases in advance.
