About Salon Zur Wilden RenateIn Berlin’s trendy party district Friedrichshain you can find a very special party experience. The Salon Zur Wilden Renate resides in an abandoned old Victorian apartment block with several levels. There are many rooms and dancefloors you can wander such as the infamous labyrinth named “Peristal Singum”, where many a partygoer has apparently found himself, a fireplace, a Halli-Galli dancefloor and a piano room.
The dancefloors are connected by several smaller rooms with beds, poufs, sofas and mezzanines, which create a crazy and original atmosphere – it almost feels like throwing an illegal party/techno rave at your grandmothers place. Baroque wallpaper included, you can find antique coal-burning stoves and various other tacky furniture and items. In adequate manner to the interior and location, parties at the Salon are generally colourful, wild and packed with flamboyant and fun-loving personalities – also quite apparent on the regularly packed theme nights, where nurse outfits surely aren’t a rarity.
In lounge room ambiance you can party on several floors to musical styles such as Electro, Minimal and Dubstep, delivered by mostly local DJs. Summer proves ideal to enjoy a fairly priced drink in the beer garden or hang out on one of the many open airs set up around the house.
10 Euros at the door.
