About SET MiamiAnother of Miami’s growing number of VIP section-focused venues, SET doesn’t want and isn’t trying to be a super-packed meat market. It wants to be the exotic, exclusive, and opulent space it is.
Designed with the glamour and style of Hollywood in the thirties, the space is actually a converted theater, mixing the classics (black leather, crocodile, shiny crystals), with the new (Funktion One sound system, massive glass fireplace, enormous video screen behind the DJ booth), and the unique (massive set of elephant tusks, compressed air elevator/go-go dancer container), all to create something opulent enough for Tony Montana, minus the gunfire and Columbian gangsters.
The DJ lineup varies on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays with big names like Afrojak and Bob Sinclair occasionally dropping by to provide the soundscape. Evolution Sundays, and Fever Tuesdays showcase some of the best local talent in Miami, as well as some of the less well known, but amazingly talented national DJs like New York City standout Serve Devante.
As with most venues which cater to the VIP set, a reservation is the best way to ensure entry, and dress to impress is the rule not the exception.
