Sky Room is a competitively priced lounge for people looking for a place to spend a night with excitement and fun. The lounge with two floors offers a lot of space to relax with your friends. It is just a few yards from Times Square.

It has laid-back atmosphere that lacks the hoopla typical of large bars. The DJ plays “Top 40,” hip-hop, and house.

A mandatory coat check may annoy some visitors. People flock here because the inexpensive drinks are irresistible and the private area is spacious. An oft-heard complaint in the lounge is its unisex toilet. A result of this unabated feminism is that the queue can be unendurably long.

Thursdays through Saturdays draw a large crowd. The club has been designed wonderfully, so it never appears overcrowded.

Crowd normally includes fashionistas, suburbanites, successful professionals, and European jet-setters. Trendy designer dresses and Armani suits are a common sight here.
