About Tao New York

What used to be a Vanderbilt stable in the 19th century, Tao New York is now a magnificent Asian temple that has influences from Thailand, China, and Japan. A 16-foot-tall Buddha statue sits at the edge of a pool full of Japanese Koi, reflecting the Asian culture and acting as a major attraction.

With several artifacts from the Orient, Tao is more than a simple restaurant. You’ll find above 300 seats spread out on three levels, together with the exclusive skybox that offers a picturesque view from its 35’ high perch.

The decoration of the place is just the beginning. The food is amazing and the menu has a lot to offer for the complete family. The dim sum is a hit with the children and the Kobe beef is good enough to die for. After getting stuffed, Tao offers a lot of tea flavors to choose from.

The crowd is mixed and you can find youngsters, old people, and entire families visiting Tao for its impeccable ambience and delicious food.
