Tenjune

Tenjune is an upscale club in the Meatpacking District. It is popular due to its high penchant for celebrities, including Ke$ha, Drake, and the members of Jersey Shore. The place gets crowded on weekends and after the midnight, making 11:30 pm just about the right time for arrival.

A date with Tenjune will not go easy on your wallet, as the cover charges for girls are set at $20, and the guys are charged $30. Once you are inside, the stairs will lead you to the main dance area. The crowd consists of professionals and the area is dimly lit.

One problem with Tenjune is that the dance area is not big enough to accommodate the number of people that keep pouring in.

The drinks are pricey, and an average cocktail costs about $18. On the plus side, the bartenders don’t cut back on the alcohol and serve excellent drinks. While the dance area deserves a little more floor, the DJ rocks it with a mix of Top 40 songs that cover everything from techno to hip hop.

You’ll find a mixed sort of crowd here and Tenjune isn’t in the business to disappoint.
