The Basement EAV

Finding its DJ nights, hip hop, and other music events overwhelming and overflowing their bar and restaurant, the Graveyard Tavern opened The Basement EAV. An annex just under Graveyard Tavern, the venue is aptly named. It contains its own bar, pool tables, a VIP vault, booths, and a spacious dance floor. Indy Rock bands, Hip-Hop crews, Electropop Divas, and DJs have all performed here.

The Basement EAV has quickly become an incredibly hip independent venue. With such an eclectic crowd and so many different types of music, anything goes. If there is a dress code, it probably involves skinny jeans, but sagged pants and high-waters are okay, too. The monthly Keep On Movin’ dance party features DJs pulling out both popular and deep cuts from the ‘50s, ‘60s, and ‘70s.

Parking is available behind the venue and on surface streets. If club goers want a breath of fresh air, a bite to eat, or just a few minutes away, the Graveyard Tavern is just around the corner above the Basement, and other bars and venues are in easy walking distance, as well.
