About The Brighton CoalitionSet underneath a railway arch, this live music venue is one of the most atmospheric in the south of England. It mixes a warehouse-style vibe with an intimate up-for-it crowd, and has a selection of performers across all music genres. While throughout the week it hosts student nights, its main DJ night is the Sunday morning carry-on that starts at 3am. Expect tech house that continues well into the middle of Sunday.
It gets messy, and the crowd continues dancing long into the morning. Sweat drips from the walls and DJs keep pushing the sound system, although there is also enough space to chill out after too many hours of dancing. On other nights, the club has hosted DJs spanning drum and bass, techno, and hip hop. Check the listings for what is on.
