The Chop Shop Noda

The Chop Shop, set in the NoDa arts district of Charlotte, is only open for booked events.

They feature a variety of acts ranging from comedians to metal bands. The Chop Shop has a multi-level main stage that can accommodate up to 10 people and their instruments. Their events room has a maximum capacity of 800 people. The 5000 square foot main bar area can accommodate 400.

If you’re in need of some air and want to take a break from the music, step out onto the patio in the back. It’s big enough that you won’t have to share the same space with a cloud of smoke in your face if you so desire.

Past guests compliment the friendliness of the staff, the quality and reasonable prices of the drinks, and the cleanliness of the venue, including the bathrooms.

There’s no coat check or happy hour, and if you want to smoke, you have to go outside. The dress code is relaxed, so come neat but jeans are acceptable.
