The Depot

The Depot is a staggering four-story venue with a capacity of 1,200, which makes it the perfect size for local acts, nationally touring bands, and hip-hop dance parties. Tickets can bought with no service fees at the Depot Box Office starting at 5:00 PM the night of the show, or on Fridays from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

This is an incredibly versatile venue, featuring general admission DJ events, as well as seated shows like Cat Power Solo and Reverend Horton Heat. Other recent shows include STS9, Devil Makes 3, Nick Hexum Quartet, and Late Night Alumni.

While there are occasional all-ages events, most nights The Depot is 21+. When 18+ events take place, kids under 18 are allowed admission if they’re with their legal guardian. Drinks are more expensive than other clubs in the area, but most patrons agree that ambiance makes up for the steep prices.

Of course, the biggest selling point of this venue is the sound. Seasoned partiers may initially take pause at the huge 3-floor music hall and worry about acoustics, but once the sounds start blasting it’s clear that the sound is second to none. The stage is elevated to ensure that no matter where you’re standing, you’ve got a perfect view.
